Draw the shape of the fins to cut and shape those manually. The fins can be anchored and glued through a slot decided on a minimalist variant for the design. In the internet different fin shapes are offered via open source manuals.
For the connection with the board the fin has a tongue, which is installed into the cut out groove at the bottom of the surfboard.
The leash-plug and the border of the vent-plug are also made from the oak plank with a pot drill. The leash-plug is attached centrally to the rear end of the board.
A forstner drill is used to lower a hole until the plug can be glued flush into the board. The same procedure is used for the installation of the vent-plug. However, it must be noted that the reinforcement on the cover plate is only approx. 3cm thick, and then meets an air window, so that a pressure equalization can take place in the board when it is opened.
The fins could also have been created as a file and cut out with the CNC cutter .
